Ronnie Screwvala picks up 5 % Stake in Omkar Speciality Chemicals (23/4/2012) Frontier India
CEO and founder chairman of ‘UTV Group, has picked up a 5.09 per cent personal stake (10, 00,000 shares) in Omkar Speciality Chemicals for around Rs 7.5 crore. Omkar Speciality Chemicals, mainly engaged in the manufacture of speciality chemicals and intermediates for chemical and allied industries, has informed the BSE about the development. The company reported a 36 per cent growth in the last fiscal. The domestic market contributes 85 per cent to its revenue with remaining coming from exports.
